Broker Appointment
When engaging National Cover Pty Ltd as your insurance broker, we require that you sign a Letter of Appointment.
There are several reasons why we require a signed Letter of Appointment.
Typically, we may need to contact insurance companies (or other entities, like underwriting agencies, assessors etc) in the following situations;
- To obtain a quotation
- To obtain your claims history
- To cancel or update an existing policy
- To lodge any claim you may have
In the above circumstances, we need to be able to show that you have authorized us to act on your behalf.
There may be other circumstances where we may need to show that you have authorized us to act on your behalf.

Fees and Charges
We only charge fees in the event of a successful policy sale.
We will not charge any fees if you appoint us as your broker, and we do not end up selling you a policy.
